"Pressed Light" series and "Trance Dance" series.
Sculptures constructed of translucent fabrics with multiple forms (one inside the other), were re-translated into pure light as they were " x-rayed" by the sun at specific angles, specific times of the day, and for specific durations. Work early in this series explored enlarged plant forms and the influence of the sun depending on the time of the day. The later works in the series used light as a means to look inside using light to meld together multiple interpretations into one whole. The result was a translation into pure light of a complex, multi-dimensional reality.
