Feb 2022 LAGI-MEA awarded four national semi- finalist teams that submitted to the LAGI-MEA regenerative art design competition to develop a comprehensive plan for a portion of the 2566-acre Saddleback Ranch for the client Modern Elder Academy. “MEA’s vision of a regenerative community is conceived holistically to include the regeneration of soil, regeneration of ecosystems and habitats, regeneration of community, and regeneration of the soul of each individual”.

Ground Truth team, Andrea Polli, Ana MacArthur, Richard Lowenberg, and Kristen Fox wove together MEA’s mission with interviews of local indigenous experts, studies of the land’s inherent traits, water resources, sun paths, bioregional plants, somatic and animal studies, as well as interspecies interactions. Ground Truth is a way-finding, storytelling, multi-sensory, experiential, eco-cultural artwork on the landscape; a regeneratively purposeful path exploring place, time, inspired learning and creative imagination. Finalist announced Dec 2022. On-line press 2023- Current.
